ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Rotary Club of GOUR BANGA was held successfully on 27/12/2025 at SWAAD RESTAURANT with the presence of club members. The President Rtn.KUNTAL PAUL welcomed all and reviewed the activities and achievements of the year. The Secretary Rtn.SANATAN MANDAL presented the annual report, followed by the Rtn. KOUSHIK GUPTA Treasurer’s financial statement, which was unanimously approved by the house. Plans and goals for the upcoming Rotary year were also discussed and Office bearers for the ensuing Rotary year were elected unanimously After the official proceedings, strengthening fellowship and camaraderie. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks, fellowship and Dinner.

MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On *December 14, 2025,* at 10 AM, *All Rotary clubs of RID 3240, Zone IV—RC Gour Banga Malda, RC Malda, RC Malda Central, RC Mango City Malda, and RC Silk City Malda*—organized a *Mega Donation Camp* at *Paul Harris Rotary Sadan,* Bandh Road, Malda. Under the esteemed leadership of *AG Zone IV, Rtn Dr. Himachal Das,* the event was dedicated to the *mission of donating Blood and saving lives.* *_A total of 52 Rotarians and non-Rotarians donated blood, all united in their commitment to fostering a healthier future._

EDUCATION AND ATHLETICS EXPO UDDAM 2025

Education and athletics Expo: UDDAM 2025 at Basudebpur Sukhandighi Primary school, SONAJHURI. The Rotary Club of GOUR BANGA, in association with Basudebpur Sukhandighi Primary school, (SONAJHURI ,ADINA ) successfully organized an inspiring Education and athletics Expo – UDDAM 2025 A respected Indian tribal freedom fighter, religious leader, and folk hero who belonged to the Munda tribe,On the occasion of Birsa Mundas 150th birth anniversary, the students of Basudebpur Sukhandighi Primary School, a tribal village in Adina, Malda district, were given some sports equipment and nutritious food to make them athletes. Rosaria Besra, a student of this school is a state level competitor every year. School of Inspector Mrs. Amrita Biswas was present as the guest of honour.

On" WORLD POLIO DAY"October 24th 2025 at 4 PM, All Rotary clubs of RID 3240, Zone IV RC Gour Banga Malda, RC Malda, RC Malda Central, RC Mango City Malda, RC Silk City Malda along with Pachimbanga Bigyan Mancha Malda, participated in the" END POLIO RALLY" from IMA Bhawan. Under the esteemed leadership of AG Zone IV, Rtn Dr. Himachal Das, the event aimed to raise awareness about polio. Both Rotarians and non-Rotarians joined the rally, united in their mission to ensure a healthy, polio-free future.

Nation Builder Awards Programme at the Rotary Club of Gaurbanga 2025 . Malda: National Builder Awards were provided to prominent teachers in Malda district under the initiative of Rotary Club of Gour Banga.Total 15 teachers were honored for their outstanding contribution to their education. Malda Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandirs Honorable Swami Tapa har ananda Maharaj and AG Zone IV Rtn Dr.himachal Das and School Sub Inspector of Manikchak Rtn Md Parvej and other Rotarian guests were present on the occasion. This honors ceremony highlighted the leading role of education in the development of education and the formation of society. Everyone present on the occasion thanked this great initiative .

MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH AND HYGIENE PROGRAMME

To raise awareness about Maternal and Child Hygiene, the *RC Gour Banga organized a Maternal and Child Health and Hygiene Program at the kaliyachak hospital July 30th, 2025*. The event featured the participation of * Rtn. Dr.Obaidullah chisty and other esteemed club members. *During the program, valuable information was shared with mothers, and 30 packets containing essential food items and sanitary napkins were distributed to those in the hospital. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the *Kaliyachak Dr. Motiur Rahaman * and *Medical Officer Dr. Aliul Islam* for their invaluable support in making this initiative a success.
